Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase power consumption a little and shorten the flickering time for integrated value update, by following and storing the integrated value of an electronic counter under the relay contact conduction state by a magnetic latch relay circuit and by making this value non-volatile. CONSTITUTION:In the electronic counter unit with dynamic driving dispaly equipment 4 connected, integrated value memory circuit 6 having a magnetic core latch relay is operated according to the output of electronic counter 107, and the digit scanning period of circuit 4 just after the input to update the integrated value of counter 107 comes is extended to a time sufficient to the operation of circuit 6. Then, the output of counter 107 is supplied to circuit 6 and is stored only during the scanning period extension time; and just after power restoration, the state of circuit 6 is inputted to counter 107, thus reloading the integration state of counter 107. As a result, the integrated value of counter 107 is followed and stored under the relay contact conduction state by circuit 6 and is made non-volatile, so that power consumption is increased a little and the flickering time for integrated value update is shortened.
