Abstract

PURPOSE: Title dye composition having dispersion stability improved by the synergistic action of the components and being suitable for dip-dyeing polyester fibers, etc., prepared by mixing two specific azo dyes. CONSTITUTION: The dye composition of the purpose is obtained by mixing 90W 10wt% of (a) a dye represented by formula I with 10W90wt% of (b) at least one dye represented by formula II, wherein X 1 and X 2 represent independently of each other H or halogen; Y is H, halogen, a lower alkyl or an acylamino; R 1 and R 2 represent independently of each other an alkyl, a cycloalkyl, an aryl, an aralkyl, a residue of a heterocyclic compound or the like, and these groups can have substituents or, R 1 and R 2 can be combined directly or through a hetero atom to form a ring. Said components (a) and (b) are mixed in the form of dispersion of finely divided powder. The resulting dispersion may be dried to powder. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
