PURPOSE: To produce a great quantity of tapes having the same recording contents as the print mother tape in a short time simultaneously by dividing the head group of one digital device into plural groups to obtain outputs and by transferring digital signals of respective systems alternatly.
CONSTITUTION: The output from the head group is given to two head switching circuits 18a and 18b, and their outputs are supplied to slave recording device 25a through amplifier circuits 19a and 19b→ the first switching means 21a and 21b→ time base change memories 20a, 20b, 20c and 20d→ the second switching means 22a and 22b→ digital-analogue conversion circuits 23a and 23b, thus recording left and right analogue signals. By this constitution, the transfer speed of one magnetic disc reproducing device is made twice as high as the conventional transfer speed practically. It is clear that this speed becomes n times as high as the conventional speed when the head group is divided to n-number groups. By the use of time base change memories, the slave tape can be obtained in a speed 32 times as high as the normal tape speed.
